    2014 FJ Cruiser Build (Lucille)

Lucille had her legs lengthened today by 2.75 in with Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. Since it's my everyday driver I didn't want to do anything too drastic, and I also didn't want to spend a buttload of money on a really expensive suspension system. The shocks did the trick nicely. Sent...

Sounds about right. I'm paying more for my one-bedroom apartment in Cool Springs than I did for my 5 bedroom 3 Bath House in Spring Hill. Sent from my SM-G930P using OB Talk mobile app

    2014 FJ Cruiser Build (Lucille)

Ah what can you do! You know. Probably not worth stressing too much over. I tried searching for the pure FJ sliders this morning, but I don't see them on the website anymore. Wonder if they quit making them. They look really cool! May end up going with some Demello Hybrids. They angle up a...

    2014 FJ Cruiser Build (Lucille)

Well...my plans for the All Pro rock sliders have fallen through. I had heard great things about All Pro, but so far not impressed at all! I ordered them back on Feb 2nd. 3 weeks into the order I noticed the status was still "processing" so I called them. All Pro told me they were really...

    2014 FJ Cruiser Build (Lucille)

The vent holes ended up being a little too thin for the buttons on the molle pouches. I'm going to have to use a dremel to widen them a little. Sent from my SM-G930P using OB Talk mobile app

    2014 FJ Cruiser Build (Lucille)

Got around to replacing all the silver pieces with black not too long ago. I ended up just Plasti Diping the front pieces because I'm planning on a Metaltech tube bumper eventually, so why buy the parts!!! My Maxtrax came in today too. Pics were on a sunny day with my phone...

I just used the existing cargo net holes and mounted a small server rack shelf there. Attached a few molle pouches to it. That thing you posted does look pretty cool though!

FJ Cruiser max tire size without body chop?

I've actually seen a video where a guy does the body chop himself with a dremel (and about 50 steel cutting wheels). I'm just trying to get as much of a clearance as I can without emptying my wallet, or messing with gas mileage too much. Lol. Maybe doing the chop myself would knock off a good...

I don't know what the weight limit is, but I am making a point to watch myself. I have heard of people overloading it.

I'd love to get my hands on this Dirt Devil gpx file once its done. I'm going to be taking my girl friends son out there with his new Jeep sometime. Usually I would prefer to just explore, but he is itching to take his Jeep somewhere, and this would help me keep paved roads to a minimum for him.

You can see on my track at S Tatum Creek where I had to turn around. You can take it until you have to turn right on McAdoo Branch Road. Some of my driving was on pavement trying to search out other roads...but not much.
