I did it myself... I used dupicolor bed armor in the aerosol can. After doing a little research I liked the finish texture the best and had great reviews. I ran tape lines all around and went for it. A few tips I you plan on doing it yourself, coverage is pretty bad since the material is thick...
I know what you mean, I shopped around for a decent mile 3rd and 4th gen, everything within my budget was over 250K miles or looked like they were days away from being scrapped.
I came across this one, and couldn't pass on it.

All the Xterra's on this post look great. I'm looking for a new rig to build and have been looking at 4runners and 1st gen Sequoias(more room). All your Xterra builds have me looking into them too. How's the reliability, from what I've seen locally there's lots available with low mileage and...
I've seen a few out there already, I'll know i'll probably have to expand my budget a little to get something is decent condition, but hopefully it all works out and I can find something that at least runs decent. Anyway, good luck on your new build!!! Keep us up to date with your progress.
Yeah, same reason I've been looking at them also. I've also been looking into 1st gen Sequoia's the aftermarket support isn't there, but the one the flip side i've seen several really cool builds . I'm hoping to find a FJ or Sequoia around 4-6k in decent shape, throw another 1K into it to fix...

I've seen tons of images, but haven't dugged deep into the build posts yet since I'm still undecided, I just browsed through Sal R.'s Sequoia build... Wow, what a build.
