Nice! I thought it looked like you had some fun today when I drove past your truck this afternoon coming into Rio Rancho.

We are planning to camp Fri night somewhere around Questa/Red River, NM depending on site availability. I can meetup at the GPS location in the RallyPoint details (near Old Town Trading Post) if that is good. If the group leaves around 7a from Bernalillo, I would expect to meetup around 10a...

I'm in for the day. I'm planning on heading back down to a campground at lower elevation around 4pm or so. My wife is not quite prepared for camping up where the lows are in the 30's. :disappointed:

Great, I'll plan to talk to you then. As this is my first get together, it would be nice to get a head's up on anything I need to bring or plan for.

I would like to meet up. I was already planning to camp around Red River next weekend, drive a few OHV trails, and take the Enchanted Circle Byway. Will people from this group be at the ABQ meeting this Saturday?

New member here. Moved to Rio Rancho about 2.5 years ago from the Southeast. My wife, 5 yr daughter, and I love it out here in the wild west. There is so much to explore! I drive a 05 F150 4x4 that I have had for about a decade now.

I was actually already thinking of doing this trail on this weekend (actually Thursday/Friday but my plans are fluid). However, I would much prefer to not try the water crossing alone as it would probably be the deepest I have tried and it appears the area may have some rain around that time...

    Jemez Mts, NM

There are a lot of great hikes and sights to see in the Jemez: Gilman Tunnels, Jemez Historic site, Soda Dam, Battleship Rock, Valles Caldera, Bandelier. Las Conchas Day Use Site is a nice pit stop for a meal, and there are even some Hot Springs that you can hike to if you want to get wet...

Howdy! My name is Ben and I'm from Rio Rancho NM. I recently moved (2 years ago) to NM from Alabama with my wife and young daughter. I have a short wheelbase 05 F150 with a small lift and 33's that I have owned for about 10 years. After moving, I began checking out some of the local offroad...
