    I don't use it, I prefer the method I posted on the coffee filter thread. Now it just takes up space in my kitchen cabinet. And I need to get rid of stuff!

    Offline maps is a thing… if you upgrade to the Expedition Tier… it’s been a thing since July of 2021.

    Hi Mike, I'm looking to try and get out on some trails/camping this summer with my two young boys (10 & 7) near SW PDX. Any suggestions ? One thing, I do not have AT or MT tires. I have HWY tires (Michelin Defender LTX M/S). Is that going to be a problem ? Thanks for your input ! -Drew in SW PDX

    In the GMRS info request thread you posted that I did not mention what my long discontinued radio was... it was in the first or second sentence... 706mk2g essentially the 7100s grandfather. Same 100/50/35 output power a few less electronic bells and whistles. sorry I did not respond sooner... mostly been busy around the house this week, and have not checked in recently.

    that reminds me... OB forums do not like my image sizes... do you happen to know the largest image I can attach or use as an avi? it keeps telling me my images are too large (no surprise since I have a 20+ megapixle camera and shoot in max size max quality :)

    I find generally Medium sized pictures (iPhone wording) is acceptable, not sure the actual pixel size, I will find out for sure though for you.

    @MattLew I load images that are around 3264 x 1836 pixels at 72 dpi resolution without issue. So maybe go up from there and see what you can do.

    Yes, I am very much interested in a more active role in the OB community? I do work full time (50+ hours a week), and have a 4 y/o daughter, but I think that represents a majority of the OB community so I'm sensitive to their needs. I look forward to helping out in any capacity.

    The weather has been horrible here... Wednesday and Thursday the freeway was shutdown more than it was open. Way to easy to get trapped here in La Grande. Today it started off very windy then stated snowing hard.
    I had three people say they were going to be here for sure, and on maybe. The one maybe called me at 9 and said he wasn’t going to be able to make it due to health.

    Well, weather aside, it's still too bad noone made it. As for down here, I am getting close to putting the RP together for a meet up on Feb 22. I should confirm the location tomorrow then start working on it. If everything goes according to another plan, I will be taking my Ham Tech test on Feb 21. Have a good rest of the weekend.
