I need to also update this thread, we have returned to Northeastern Oregon for the winter. My wife and I are currently staying with my dad’s cousin as we plan out the next stages of our journey. We spent 5 months on the road, visited 8 states, 4 national parks, and met many wonderful people...

I traded the broken down Expedition for the Ram, still have the Bronco with the expectation of selling it in the spring.
The Rhino Rack is too long to fit on top in the traditional sense, but I’m looking into options to make it work. If not, it will be up for sale as well.
The cost and the modularity is what sold me on the trailer. The trailer is currently being built and should be finished by the end of September. Once the trailer is done I’ll be posting pictures and a full review
The problem is that cigarette lighter adapters don’t make a very good contact on both the ground and power connection points. It’s best to make a hard connection with either power poles or directly to the battery.
