The last vehicle I had came with "security" lugs on them. I pulled them off and replaced with the same lugs as everything else. I didn't want to find my self way out in the desert on a dark night and lose the key and not be able to change a tire.
Keep it simple.
I bought one for work. They are heavy and have a big footprint. I use a bottle jack with some different Safe Jack attachments. I also find that a High Lift foot pad is a useful thing to have instead of relying on nature providing a flat rock.

By the nature of working with compressed gasses the gage dousent really tell you much. It is not like the fuel gage in s vehicles. It will pretty much tell you that you are running out when you are just about out.
Non the less there is nothing bad about having on.

Kind of seems to opposite to what I want out of my traveling and exploring experiences. Kind of the point of it for me is to be unplugged and self-reliant.
But I am old and still injoye reading a map and discovering what is over the next hill.
