Anyone in this area recently? We were thinking of heading that way next week and I came across this post. Now I worry it will be crazy busy and not at all what we are looking for.

We are looking to fit in a bit of overlanding with the family while visiting Wisconsin Dells. Does anyone know of any trails near there besides the TWAT? Something further east of the TWAT? Thanks!

I do have a couple questions. Where is the legend for the map? I’m having trouble figuring what trails are what. Are the trails that we see on the map only for off-road vehicles or atv’s and other modes of transportation?

We brought the beast in for new rear leaf springs. Loaded it up last night to head out on our trip and the tired springs basically said I don’t think so. Hope to have him back in the next hour or so and we will be on the road (and trails)!

I’m trying to find trails through Yellowstone and I’m having trouble reading the map. I saved a gpx file of a trail from the wikiloc app but when I open it I am brought to OB maps with an error. Any help on getting trail maps so I can view them offline in case of no service.

You seem to know your trail apps so I’m hoping I can get your help. I downloaded the wikiloc app and saved a trail as a file to my phone. When I open it i am brought to OB maps and I get this error.

I have a friend that uses wikiloc. I just downloaded it. I saved a trail to my phone as a file but now I have no idea where on my phone it is. Haha

We thought about getting one but waiting for it it to go on sale. I would have to modify it though and add extra material for it to reach the ground. Our van is too high. I realize though it’s super easy with our tuff stuff brand. Maybe I’ll get around to it next year.

Are you able to view the maps on the app if you don’t have service?

Haha The roof is for the kids. We will be in the van on the back bench/bed. We had to change out the ladder that came with it. The van is too tall and the ladder barely touched the ground.
