I use a redarc BCDC 50amp charger for my 200 ah lifepo4 battery. It has never caused an issue with the charging system, or the crank battery.
The 50 amp may be overkill, but even from a flat battery a 4 or 5 hr trip caps it off.
Once you turn off of hwy 19, most of the roads here could be classified as a moderate 6 to difficult.
Not sure about the trails in this area, but I would try south of hwy 40. The areas here above 40 to tennessee are still in search and recovery mode.
