I feel your pain. 10 mpg at 3.79/gal - hard to spend that much on gear on a regular basis. Last long run (11 days) through Ky and the UP was a $1,300 fuel bill.

After the 4/18/25 meetup we will be doing a short (couple hours) run at the TN border, leaving Main Street Coffee about noon. Trail is about 8 miles, rated a 5 by onxoffroad. Good chance to get in the dirt!

Just a heads up for the monthly meetup. Yes, it's still on, I just had to delete it to get rid of all the attendees that were "Going" but were ghosts since day one. Please mark down if you are attending, but mark not attending if you're not next time. It just helps keep the attendee list realistic.

Replaced a broken yoke on the rear diff and rebuilt the ujoints.

What size charger did you use for the house batteries?

I use a redarc BCDC 50amp charger for my 200 ah lifepo4 battery. It has never caused an issue with the charging system, or the crank battery. The 50 amp may be overkill, but even from a flat battery a 4 or 5 hr trip caps it off.
