If you only use it very occasionally with small groups you could get away with a handheld, preferably with a mag mount antenna. Then another handheld for spotting.
If it's more regular use or larger groups you're better off with a mobile unit with a real antenna, then a handheld for spotting.

Hey everyone we moved here last year and I haven't gone on any trips. Thinking about trying to hit 600-2 and 600-1 in Talladega and looking for anyone that would like to go. I do not no the area or the trail so someone that's done it would be great.

The soup makes a kind of gravy with the beef fat. I always take a stick of butter and rub it on the inside of the foil to keep it from sticking. Brussels sprouts and green beans with potatoes and about a half pound patty of beef on top of all of the veggies is my go to
