Camp is set up at Uwharrie NF, NC.
Looking forward to a few days of camping, fishing, and of course the trails.
Setting up at our 1st rigs and Coffee-WNC!Hi Dan! New to Overland Bound and trying to learn more about how to get started by meeting like-minded individuals. Unfortunately, there aren't many events in the southeast region. Just wanted to conenct with you and see where it takes me, haha.
About to explore Hurricane Creek
Just loaded the truck for a short run this weekend.
Will be in the buzzard roost, rockytop, hurricane gap areas. Saturday and Sunday.

Spent the weekend with my son on the "Byway Winter Ride"
Spent the day exploring the NC/TN mountains looking for a place to have lunch with snow dusting the way.
Enjoying the evening, and the bourbon, at Expo East.
Spent the night at deep water camp area at uhwarie. Picking supplies at Eldorado outpost . Heading for dickie bell trail.

Did some exploration of flatop in yancey county, and some camping and hiking with with my wife.
Added GMRS license and callsign;

Got the rock sliders on and AC finished just in time for a 5-day run to Okracoke Island. Finally completed a trip that didn't end up on a flatbed ride home. Explorer did great in the deep sand.
After several engine issues and a blown torque converter, the Explorer is finally back on the road.
Now to get the rock sliders on and finish the wiring, bull bar and kitchen.
