Resolved poi trails

quick question ? why i cant record a trail from a point i created , i record a trail and it create a new point, and i need to remove old one so there is 2 points at same place ( ps = maybe its still because of my problematic weird account ? ) just wondering

I think it is because one is a point of interest, say camp site or attraction and other is a recording of your track/trail. So to me both would need to show as you can select items to show or not show.....
