Ruby Point, actually. But yes, insanely beautiful. And not a single person for miles.Looks like Point Sublime to me. If so that is an amazing spot. Been there and will likely go back.

This was in the Lockhart basin. Right on the Colorado river. We went 4500 miles in a truck that was pulled from a scrap yard 3 years ago, after a flood took it out. I couldn’t be prouder of my scrapyard cruiser. This takes the cake for my most epic camp spot. I’m dreaming of going back.

Gorgeous! Where are these locations? Here are photos of from two of our favorite campsites in the lower 48, so far. We are still exploring so they may fall to third or fourth place in the future. That time out we spent three nights at each site. Completely off grid several hours from any services in any direction... At each site we encountered no other human beings, just my wife and I. The temps dropped into the mid teens every night. I miss each of these places and yearn to go back to them, but even more we yearn to find other campsites that offer the same in solitude.
