On the JKU with 35s I used the factory jack with the AEV jack stand which works great. Like all things an extra part might invite a problem if the ground is unstable but so far no issues.

One of these (two stage 4 ton bottle jack that comes oem in Ford F450/550)

My truck and trailer both have 35's on them and this has plenty of extension height in a compact package. I also have the oem Jeep scissor jack under the rear deck.

There are other 2 stage bottle jacks on the market, but the oem Ford (who knows who built it) is perfect for my needs(although I do wish the substantial body components were aluminum).
