This is a sweet truck. I have a 2012 PW. Black. Looks a lot like yours, just not a mega cab. I'll be following your build for ideas. Maybe we'll meet on a trail some day.

Thanks man!!! I love my truck but these new diesels with all the EPA restrictions suck! I've had a check engine light go off every other month since last November and I'm only at 30k miles. And it's always some kind of update regarding that new system they have.

I've got 3 more years of payments, I'm honestly interested in trading the rig in for new Power wagon at that time.

A few weeks old but here's my truck bed platform built a few weeks ago for a little overland adventure.
Built with 2x4s and plywood which I wrapped up with carpet. Stored underneath is my full size 315/70 tire and a full size jack. Also plenty of space for gear underneath. My wife, pup and I slept inside of it during some 30-40 mile wind gusts in Death Valley and at Trona Pinnacles.

Man, I'm sorry to hear you've had issues. I anguished over the Hemi vs Cummins questions for months and I really wanted a diesel. I talked to guys at work and read as many forums as I could and in the end all the emissions and maintenance stuff just scared me off. It's too bad that they had to screw up a perfectly good power plant with all that crap. But I'm sure the majority of the time it's hard to wipe the grin off your face when your driving. Enjoy it.

Definitely hard to keep the grin off every chance I get to drive it, especially off road! They sure don't make diesels like they used to. The only way to bypass all these issues would be to delete the truck and straight pipe it! Then again, that'll void drive train warranty and can be a potential $25k fine. Just taking it day by day, the rig has actually been at the dealership now for that check engine light for he last two days. Definitely a drag when wanting to do spontaneous trips. Lookin forward to my 2020 powerwagon lol.
