Has anyone used an X Bull winch? They seem to be a little cheaper than Smittybilt. Just wondering if they are reliable. Thanks for your help.

Does anyone have an opinion on the following winch:
X-BULL Electric Winch 14500LBS/6590kg 12V Synthetic Rope Wireless 2-IN-1 Remote.

We expect we won't use it often (if at all), just more a great safety feature as we will be touring solo and sometimes remotely.
This is not a brand I have seen often used in Australia and therefore not familiar with this product.

Can’t speak to that particular model, but the one I have I got in 2016 and still works great.
Mine is a 13,000 lb with synthetic rope and 2 remotes.
My remotes however, take an unusual battery that is difficult to find at times.

Thanks mate. I just placed an order!
Let's hope we will never need to use the winch.

Twice a year, unspool and respool the cable. The number one issue with winch's is slight corrosion on the brush's. You don't want to need it and it doesn't work. This applies to all brands. Some are just worse than others.

Good point, I drag my wife's Cherokee back in to put drag on the line...
