Just curious if anyone has done this yet in a vehicle. We were planning on doing it right now but some life events have postponed it until this time next year. I'll update this thread with my prepping for the trip and also reports during and after the trip.
We did the IDBDR in 2020, I was in a 2007 Land Cruiser and my friend was in his 2017 Jeep Rubicon 4 door. No real issue there except he picked up a nail somewhere between Silver City ID and Jarbidge. We met in Silver City because I was coming from the East and him the West and we also wanted to pre-run our vehicles on the Owyhee Backcountry Byway.
