Would you buy this trailer for $500?

I found this relatively near me. I don't mind restoring but I'm limited in tools. I don't have welding stuff but I can handle some grinding, sanding, and painting.

How bored are you? Do you have a friend that has the necessary tools?
The M416 is a solid base for an overlanding/offroad trailer.
Depending on amount of rust/work, 500 might be a bargain.
Take cash and offer a bit lower????

Have the same sort of offer near me, rust doesnt seem to go all the way through, I just don't know if it is worth it. Rust always worries me. I mean these can be just be patched up though.

This thing has gaping holes in it though from rust. I can sand and paint out filling holes and/or welding is probably beyond my ability.

At least the holes can't rust any more. $500 really? What is a good one worth? What about direct military surplus disposals/traders?

Ive been looking and as rare as they come up $500 seems steep for the amount it needs.

Guys. Unless the bed is totally rusted thru it is a reasonable offer at $350,00. The frame is well worth the time and effort to build it into an expedition trailer. If you were in So Kalifornia I'd offer to do it for ya, I've done three. Two worse off than these. Good luck
