Advocate II
Having just returned from our trip through France, Spain, Portugal and Morroco I'm eager to get ready for our next trip. We plan to head to the Artic circle in Norway and possibly across the border into Russia, hoping to see the Northern Lights.
We are planning on late Jan/early Feb for 3 weeks or so and will likely stay in cabins but will also be camping. I normally use an alcohol heater or an open fire in our Lavvu/Tipi but they are only really suitable down to around -10C / 14F and it's likely to be much colder so I'm in the market for a wood burning stove. I'm looking for suggestions.
Not looking for anything that needs to much assembly but I like things that are well made and will last. Most of the stuff available in the UK seems to mass produced and I prefer to buy hand built from smaller specialists.
So well built, all needs to pack into the main stove as much as possible and efficient as the nights will be long.
