I want to put scene lights on my jeeps roof rack along with a chase light on the rear. I am wondering how people are wiring them. I want driver and pass on separate switches but I hate the look of messy wiring. I was thinking of using two wire cable for each side then merging them to a 3 wire cable so I only need one cable going through the roof. Looking for some ideas or advice on getting this done. Tried YouTube lots of light videos but no one seems to show wiring the lights. Thanks for any help.

i bought some 4-wire cable and a marine wire block deck seal. i have 2 lights each on both sides and then two front lights on my rack. i wired the lights in series. ran to a 8 gang switch panel in the headliner controlled by a relay bank under the hood. there are kits that are nearly plug and play Auxbeam light kit but i like to DIY alot of stuff. this set up runs all the exterior lights on my truck. everything runs under the headliner and through the A pillar. only 'messy' part is my relay set up. however maintance wise i have a lot more control than a sealed junction box. ill have to look at it again and remember exactly how i wired it. i may still have my homemade wire diagram around some where.

That deck seal is nice. I haven't seen that design before. Is it sealed by the clamping of the two halves or is there a gland nut inside the housing? The description from the link is a bit confusing.
You bolt the base plate to the roof ,then the top piececlamps the rubber seal.

So a correction to the above. I used a 2 wire cable for each pair of lights wired in series, and used 2 each 4 wire cable for the switch to relay wiring.

Two on each side. I may put a chase light in the back but that will be on its own circuit.
