es on, and off onto the TET. Along the route we mixed things up with shortcuts and extra sections to keep it as off-road-heavy as possible while still making good progress toward Camp 2. At one point we had to dig one of the cars in our convoy out of the snow, which turned into a proper team effort. Later we stopped in Zacisze for some seriously good food, grabbed a few supplies, and headed back onto the TET toward our second campsite — deep in the forest, once again right by a lake. A bit of fresh snow fell during the second night, adding even more atmosphere — long hours around the campfire, deep in conversations about cars, gear, and future trips. On the second and final day we continued along the TET and even came across traces of World War II, including parts of the Ostwall. Big thanks to Paul for constantly sharing fascinating facts about Poland along the way. I really enjoyed the whole experience — especially the route planning — and I’m already looking forward to the next trip.
