Winter Field Day is this weekend, any hams here going to participate?
Due to parenting requirements, I will be doing it from home again this year but will be set up outside in a tent with a temporary antenna.
The solar panel and main battery are sitting in the sun, tablet and battery pack are on their chargers, the weather does look like it will be favorable, so I am looking forward to some time on the air.

I’m in the northeast we’re getting ready for a blizzard now but if you’re gonna be operating on DMR let me know and I’ll jump in

I didn’t know DMR was allowed as a mode for WFD.

unfortunatly I have to work today… I was planning on operating as W7GRA. I might try and make a few contacts on lunch running mobile out of the “Adventure Machine”.
@Prerunner1982 what bands are you running?

I’ll bring my 10 and 40m ham sticks… I doubt I’ll be able to reach you, but I will try.

15m was good but long, even got Austria on 15m. Worked coast to coast and Canadian provinces. Have a big hole in the middle of my map except for a few contacts this morning on 20 or 40.
Can't wait until ARRL Field Day.
