Had a blast driving the White Rim trail in Utah. Arrived at Canyonland NP visitors center just to see if we could get a permit and to camp on the trail. We didn't really expect to be able to but, someone had just cancelled their permit. Our first campsite was at Potato Bottom campsite which meant we would be driving it in reverse from normal. The views were incredible. There were only two spots on the trail that were challenging and required a little skill. It took us four hours on the first day and eight hours the next to complete the trail. We spent two weeks exploring different trails around the Moab area. Utah is an amazing place.

Yes, the White Rim Road is a bucket list overlanding destination. Just challenging enough, spectacular scenery and limited access.
We spent 2 nights and 3 days on the trail a couple years ago and had a blast!
