Ok now that your all up to date on what I have been doing since I bought my Base model Forester you can ask any questions about it and I will try to give you as complete of an answer that I can to help you with your build. oh I failed to include my spot and wide light switches. they are mounted on the bottom of fuse cover. It was the best spot I could find. purchased on 7/16/2020 off-road on the third day! lol

I have a 2018 Crosstrek and have struggled to find a location for auxiliary lighting and aftermarket Hella horns. I eventually ended up using the same location as it looks like you did, but had to make my own terminal block mount. It was a pain... I can't tell from the photo, but did you find something that was available to buy and/or modify? I'd be really interested in how you tackled that problem.
