I am not being allowed to post anything further, sorry. It is good content for someone who is serious about a camper.

Whiskey
Bacon
A big knife
A lighter
Everything else is just unneeded fluff :tonguewink:
I hear ya' :-) There can be other considerations :-) and motivations re spares, tools, etc.
Two years ago I rode my 1986 BMW R80G/S motorcycle deep into Mexico. Coming back north my engine stopped in Ensenada, Mexico and I could *not* fix it, even though I had lots of "wear item" type spares, and the bike is kept in great shape. I found an Uber driver who was able to borrow his Dad's truck and bring me and my bike 400 miles back to Phoenix where I store it. I now carry a spare coil!! Who would'a thunked........

I keep the Morris Mule trailer set up packed and ready to go-just add food, water for coffee, drinks (usually Gatorade), slide the kayak on, gas up and I'm on the road-usually the beach. The Snomaster 56L and Renogy 20 solar charger and panel are in the Jeep most of the time, along with fishing gear, rods, reels etc.

Just wish I had this set up when I lived in New Mexico (instead of Texas) so I could have taken advantage of the BLM land.
thanks
Bob

I carry the bare minimum.
4 bins for clothes, toiletries.
View attachment 129428

An old cooler for a dry box for crackers to cutlery. A $10 Cooltron cooler for refrigeration. Battery powered LED lights & headlamps.
View attachment 129429

And, the reason I built my own trailer, a spot to store the doors on the road.
View attachment 129430

Nothing high tech.
Old fashioned camping sleeping bags on a full size 8" mattress.
View attachment 129431

Zero setup, zero tear down, park camp, in the morning if it's raining, roll out of bed and drive.
Billiebob,
I really like the way you built a comfortable and functional camper trailer! Something that looks to work well all year long. My Alaskan pop up camper works great and spoils me fast! But with the full size package, does not fit in all the places and situations that I like to sometimes camp in. That is why I gave the RTT a try. Still have 5 ground tents too! But your camper turned out great! You must be quite the craftsman! Vance.
