Flipper, Bought up a good point in the “Overland Safety: Fire Extinguishers” about servicing/shaking the Fire Extinguishers. I normally (if I remember) do this every 12 months. Which had got me to thinking.

What is your “Yearly” routine with your vehicles?

We all do regular maintenance throughout the year. Which has been discussed in another post. Grease, oils, oil and fuel filters. Then eye ball for any problems, oil leaks, loose bolts and stone caught between chassis and fuel line.

But does anybody have a particular checklist of what they do every 6 or 12 months, that is not part or regular maintenance?

Checklists could be for any thing. I have listed a couple, but there could be some we may not think of…

Vehicle
Camping gear
First Aid Kits <- I do this every 12 months to make sure items are in date.

So my questions are..

What are your checklist?
What do they contain/check?

After every trip I crawl under the rig and check all suspension parts and check for leaks and every other oil change I grease the drive shafts.
