A couple weeks ago I bought a small new (to me anyway) daily driver that will get some attention before I use it.

It's a 2001 Opel Corsa with a 125 hp 1.8 16V engine, so it's actually the hot hatchback version of this car.

It's 11' 6" long, 5' 5" wide, has 5.5" ground clearence and a curbweight of 2255 lbs.

What kind of attention do you have in mind? A 7 liter V8, or something else?

Looks like a challenge to me if serious off roading are in your plans. Keep posting.

It will get a few new parts before I drive it, I just need to save up first.

I'm done with offroading for now, not that it's legal to offroad in Norway anyway and I don't want to keep replacing parts on a monthly basis with a 4x4.

I'm done with offroading for now, not that it's legal to offroad in Norway anyway and I don't want to keep replacing parts on a monthly basis with a 4x4.

You know it’s something special when it’s packaged this well! Radflo 2.0 coil overs, with SPC upper control arms waiting in the wings, along with the Bilstein 5165 rear piggy backs. Just waiting on the camber bolts and a few odds and ends, and the Xterra will get a lift (just not for her face). I actually bought the lift kit about three weeks ago, but it takes some time for Radflo to make the shocks ... Hoping to rip her legs out this weekend and put the new legs in her. Then, it will be time for some new shoes!

Just got done installing a set of JKS Quicker Disconnects for the sway bar on our 2000 Jeep WJ, looking forward to a bit more flex. Also installed a new set of extended bump stops front and rear, now do not have to worry about the front axle travelling to far up on big bumps. Been worried about damage from over travel since we added the lift a few years ago. Now just need to come up with a good way to hold the sway bar in place when its disconnected.

Very impressive little girl. I cut my teeth on a 1940 model back in 1949. I loved that little ranch jeep.
I'm turning green just looking at it. Thanks for sharing go go go

I'd be jumping up and down all over the place at $40. Can one person set it up by them self or did you try. What is the name brand of that big baby. Is it a 2, 3 or 4 season capable tent.

I have had several OT tents throughout the years... even brand new prices on them aren’t too bad. My main tent that I am wanting to replace is 8 years old and used almost every weekend during the camping season... other than one broken pole connector, the tent still looks brand new...
The only reason I want a new tent is because of the setup time on my large cabin tent... it takes close to an hour to figure out the pole configuration and 4 people to set it up... 2 can do it, but that is how the pole connector got broke.
I have been viewing this Teepee Tent for a while now... I love the size, just concerned on the setup and tear down times.... I’m switching from a base camp type of Overlanding to more of exposition camping this year so setup and takedown of camp needs to become quicker and easier.

Yesterday I ordered a Yaesu FT-2900 2m Radio... i know it’s an old outdated radio, but the price was good, and will work great for both a mobile rig and a base station until I get the radio I really want. Now to order the rest of the stuff to make a base station radio shack in my living room.

It took me 20 minutes to set it up by myself the first time. I had no instructions and had to undo several random knots the previous owner tied in the guylines.

There is absolutely no way it is all getting packed in to the original bag. I am trying to find a plastic container it will fit in so it can be strapped to the roof.

Many tents never do fit back into the sack.

Ozark Trail 8 person Yurt. I wouldn't trust it in high winds. It has no accomodation for a wood stove, but a stove jack can be added by someone who is handy. I plan on reapplying DWR and adding additional seam sealer to make it a solid 3 season tent.

Bought a 27g and two 5g Commander Yellowtop bins. The 5's fit inside the 27 and they're perfect height to hold fuel, liquids, and some other miscellaneous gear. It reduces the 3 shallow bins we've been using for the last 2 years into one. ONE. Muahahahahahahah

Sorry, organization brings the crazy out sometimes. Also bought the dual ARB compressor and should be getting the mount for it tomorrow via Rago Fabrication.

Next up is going to be deciding on a mount system for a phone/tablet inside the cab.
