What an eyesore. Someone didn't leave the forest better than they found it.
Even if you get out of the canyon the closest trees are no to be found.. This place is about 80 miles North of Moab.
Shows how hard working the pioneers had to be, huh ? I wonder how many wagon loads they hauled in there for the build. Whoever built it sure didn't plan on raising a family there. LOL

Lots of shot up cars and what not on BLM land and in the Desert.

But the oddest "things that make you go hmmm" one was in the middle of nowhere in the Sierra Nevadas we came across a small clearing with a helicopter pad, and a small tower structure covered in antennas. There was a fence around it, and a sign saying we should call NASA for any emergencies. FAA would have made sense as it could have been a NAVAID or RCO, but NASA? We just scratched our heads and moved on.
