When Overlanding locally and you take photos, do sightseeing and do a write-up for the OB forum.

What do OB members want to see or know, about an area?

What would maybe entice them to your local tracks or locations?

We all know a great place we would like to show everybody else. But what makes it great for us may not be somebody else’s idea of great.

Here's what I'd like to see:

1. GPS location of the site that is being spoken about (if a camp site)
2. Links to the websites specifically about the location (when applicable)
3. Photos
4. Video of possible
5. Tips about said location
6. Do's and Don'ts (where applicable) - each place has its unique rules or general agreements of users of the area.

What I want to see is what you enjoyed!! Or did not and the feedback you provide. If I have not "been there done that" how would I know without you.
I don't care because it is about your experience with the journey that you chose.
We all bring different things to the table, and it's not about how hard or easy it is. We have many member's with 2-wheel drives that explore amazing places that we will never see because we don't live there.
FOOD for thought.....

I have mixed feeling about posting gps coordinates. Many locations I have visited over the years have been nearly destroyed recently due to the location being posted online. I am not trying to keep things secret, just worried about how long before they are gone completely. Maybe posting pictures and a write up. A PM to the OP if someone wanted more info.

Understandable. I was mostly referring to large and better known locations that you wouldn't necessarily know about as a non-local. There are many amazing parks, locations, views, etc. that any of our members could post the GPS coordinates to that are already well known, just not to people living out of state. I say this because the government and the National Park Service (thanks to President Woodrow Wilson) maintain MANY stunning locations in our country and the experiences of our group can be shared with you and I and we could add it to our list of places to go.
