Installed the drawer system I built. Happy with the turnout. It also has a storage area at the back of the box, accessible by flipping the back seat down. View attachment 104903View attachment 104904View attachment 104905
This is what I like about our forum. It offers us alternate ideas for our projects. I am planning to redo my drawer system from one large drawer to two smaller drawers
I am curious as to the placement of your drawer slides being on the bottom of the drawers. How do you find the operation of the drawers with the weight of more equipment?

Removed the roof rails as I managed to break one of them, now I have to find a way to remove the screws without removing the headliner or damaging the paint, I kinda like how my car looks without them.

Came back from an Overlanding adventure this morning and had a package waiting for me. Then UPS showed up to deliver my Dometic CFX 75 DZW! Here are a couple of pictures that help someone with ideas on size. My Canyon is 35L, for the record, still Ice from a block 8 days, on the cooler! Vance.

Over the past three mornings (before it got too hot outside) I pulled the transfer case out of my Tahoe to do the "GM pump rub fix kit". Pulled it out Tuesday, replaced the part and reassembled the t-case yesterday, and reinstalled it with the help of my brother in law today. Aluminum pump vs. Magnesium tail housing, I wonder which was winning...

Wasn’t today, but last week had to have the trans. rebuilt in the FJ. A shuttering between 37 and 42 mph was the torque converter that wasn’t locking into the high gear(over drive). Bands glazed so with max pressure to the torque converter/throw out bearing it still wouldn’t lock-in. 142,000 miles, 12 yrs. old. Flush you transmission fluid at 100,000 miles or when recommended is all I can say. Not a common occurrence but not unheard of.

On the drawer with the camping stove I installed the slides on the bottom, it works but i would redo it so they're on the sides for more strength. The large storage drawer I installed the slides on the sides and they work very well. They're suppose to hold 100lbs but well see Haha. Sorry for the delayed response
