EccoTemp L5. Its great so far. It gets the water really hot, even cold water straight out of the tap. If your water is hot from being in a plastic jerry can on the back of the rig, you almost can't even turn on the L5 because the lowest the L5 can go will be steaming hot.

Works way better than I expected... the 50 psi pump it came with with my Oxygenics Fury RV shower head has damn near the same pressure/force as my house, just with lower water usage. If I am careful, I can take a good comfortable shower with half a 5L jerry can.

Excluding the shower tent, the setup fits in a pretty small area of one of those roof cases I have.

First off, man you shoot perfect video, I mean it answered all my questions but one(ok more than one).....What pump is that? that comes with the L5 or you bought sep? Do I need the pump?

Thanks for helping

Jim

I bought mine on the eccotemp website and that one came with it. Flojet Model 03526144 . 7.5 amps @ 50 psi, 2.9 GPM

You either need a pump, or you need a regular hose hookup that has pressure. Happy to answer questions.

Edit: One huge plus of this setup... When you shut off the water at the shower head.. the pump shuts off (it detects the pressure spike, flow stops)... and the water heater also shuts off. When you turn the shower head on again, the water heater kicks on and the water pump starts up... instantly!. Not water waste, no gas waste, no super heated water (like many other camp hot water systems).

I'll be camping for the next week, I might try to shoot a longer and more descriptive video of the setup.

This is the second GX I've seen with those wheels this week. Really nice. What brand are they?

I too just had some sliders installed last weekend!

Also threw together a sleeping platform for my camping trip this weekend. I know, super hardcore.
