Finished the placement of my camping tools, in the space void between the backseat and FrontRunner Storage drawers. Used high powered magnets with built-in hooks. Seat holds everything snug with no rattles or movement.

Installed a reversing camera into each of my rigs. Just ordered wiring harnesses for the new stereos to go in and then will be installing and wiring it all up.

Will see how the video feed looks and may adjust or move either one.

After getting buried in the snow last week in Idaho, and almost have to abandon the vehicle (it was above tree line, after sundown, and @Reichling was dragging his rig trying to winch me out), I've added a Pull-Pal to my kit. Not only would it have anchored the winching vehicle, we could have used it to get beyond the obstacle, and to our destination (we had to turn back).

I've been using water bricks for several years now and really like them. I just wish the lids were a little easier to put on and take off.

Apparently, there are multiple ways to remove an air locker ;-)...

View attachment 24691

The retaining pin had sheared off, and since the locker needed to be replaced anyway (spider gears were trashed), the fastest way to remove the pin was to cut a channel in the locker case. I got 20 years service out of that locker, so no complaints. Plus, the new models from ARB are a much better design.

P.S. This is also the most effective way to determine if your fuel tank is leaking ;-)

Rotated the tires and began planing on converting a Horrible Freight cargo carrier into an interior rack for the Xterra.

Goal Zero Lanterns, Yeti 400 Lithium, And Compass Hood Decal 5-28-2017

Figured out how I am going to mount my old Goal Zero Light A Life lanterns to the new Eezi-Awn Bat 270 awning, and added a cool compass decal to the hood.
Not happy with the latter, I am going to take it to a body shop and see if they can fix it, or put on a new one I have on order
I suck at die-cut stickers/decals :)

Also powering the lanterns with the new Goal Zero Yeti 400 Lithium Solar Generator, and I have the Boulder 100 watt Briefcase solar panel on order to charge it back up.
See my thread for more pics and links.
