I’d give up fresh food. Go all dehydrated with some fruit or veg as snacks.
Not sure I’d go that far. I enjoy dehydrated when I’m hiking/backpacking - probably due to the fact that I’m exhausted at the end of the day. For overlanding, though, the fresh food just tastes so much better. Maybe I’m buying the wrong dehydrated food.

100% agree. I was just throwing out what I thought would be the lightest and simplest option. There are definitely trade offs in terms of deliciousness.
