I got Starlink prior to the mini coming out. It had helped in keeping in touch with family and unexpected route plan changes. First I had to use the inverter but later put together 12 volt dc option to keep the power consumption down and easier/faster setup. Thinking about added a Bluetooth switch so I can turn the Starlink off/on remotely.

I’ve been horribly disappointed in my home internet service, so have been thinking of this option anyway. Add in the flexibility of the roam service to allow working from the road, and it seems a good idea. I just don’t want to have to deal with a mass of cables.
Everything is included and we were able to run ours in the van with a Samlex 150w inverter. Since I prefer to set up things my way, I've switched to a different router etc but none of that is necessary.
