Welding on a late model vehicle

I am looking for advice for welding on my frame. What steps do I need to take to protect the ECU, Fuses, Battery.....

Disconnect the battery and you should be good to go. At least, that's what I've done when welding on my '08 wrangler.

Good question, I wouldn't have thought to ask about. I have plans for some welding too and now I know what not to do as well as what to do..
