weekend trip, first for whole family!

Packed up this past weekend and took the family out for an overnight camping trip. First for our 6 month old!

It was a short trip, we only went to the 'local' mountains, the Jemez Forest District. It was incredibly muddy and I had to abandon my initially planned route due to sliding all over the place in the mud. It was seriously some of the worst mud I've tried to drive in. Not that I've mudded a whole lot

Family loved the spot and the little one enjoyed basking in nature!

Thanks Cappy, it's pretty low budget at the moment. Yes, I definitely agree! Our 5 year old got started when she was about 1 and loves it.

Low budget or big budget, who cares.
As long as you have fun, the budget is perfect.
It looks nice there. Wish we had such local mountains. Nearest mountains are about 500 km away.
Hope to see more of this local stuff.
