I love this thread also, makes me want to climb every peak I see. I was born and raised in Hayward, I left in 99, it sure has changed.I love this thread as any time i see a mountain I want to go to the top of it...
Here's one we hit last week...
We started at Onion Valley where we were camped which is 9200ft and hiked the 4.8miles up to the pass at 11,800. We were hoping to go all the way to Bullfrog lake, but Kings Cyn National Park starts at the summit and there are no dogs allowed (stupid)
