Pick a large area that is desireable for the lifestyle (4x4+camping= overlanding) as Centrally located to the rest of the u.s. as possible plus or minus a few hundred miles.... pin down a solid summer time date for folks with kids. And let it rip tater chip. Someone is bound to show up lol

JBLM, not too far from you. I've been here for just under a year. Before this I was in Arizona, and before that I spent a few years at the illustrious Ft. Drum in NY.
