Veiwing last name

Is there a way to make it so others can't see your last name? I've looked but didnt have any luck.

It does say it's required, but I'm sure you can decide if you want to write your last name or not :)

Admins can remove it for you. If you make any changes to your profile, it won’t save unless you put something in the last name slot. I just used an initial.
The site should quit doing that, or at least give new members the option before publicly posting, but that’s just one mans humble opinion.

Yeah I just changed my last name. I figured it be in the settings to only make it veiwable from certain people.

Hmmm, that must be a new requirement. I don't have anything in either field. But if I try to make a change, such as add my region, it requires filling them out before saving. So I guess I won't be changing anything.

Yeah @Steve I noticed it with new members a couple months ago. Thought it was odd to be required and displayed.
