This past September saw my wife and I fulfill a dream of Overlanding. We purchased our Off Road Tacoma, set it up and did 22 days in the deserts of Utah, Arizona and Nevada. The trip was amazing. White Rim Rd, The Dollhouse in The Maze, Muley Point, Bears Ears, Beef Basin, these were but a few of the places we went to. And almost all of our travels were on dirt or rough tracks.
Of course, we are already planning on our return trip next September. What we are hoping for is some local Utah Overlanders giving us some tips on those out of the way but spectacular locations for exploration and off grid camping. We have done quite well in our research but seeing as we are from Victoria BC Canada we don't have the luxury of local knowledge to give us those special tips.
We are totally self sufficient and set up for off grid exploration so come on fellow Overlanders, give us some of those special places to explore that we might not find through research alone. Next September won't come soon enough.
