I have a Patriot Camper trailer. It has a big, 270 degree awning made by Supapeg. The awning is very nice, but in order to get the wind walls, I'd have to pay nearly $800 to get them shipped from Australia. All I really need is a way to enclose the kitchen area during inclement (especially windy) weather. I'm thinking a big canvas tarp would do the trick. If I got something like an 8'x16' (or maybe two 8'x10') canvas tarp(s) and punched grommets into it, I could attach it to points along the awning poles, and another set of grommets to steak it out in the dirt. I wouldn't be able to do individual panels, but if my goal is to enclose the entire kitchen, then I don't think I will miss it. I can get a canvas tarp for a hundred bucks, or do a poly tarp for much less even. What do you guys think? This looks like a nice canvas tarp on Amazon: $99 for an 8x16.
