We are getting clooooser to the trip. Anyone leaving central Cal early? I am thinking of leaving Visalia Ca on 11/10 in the morning. Stock up and top off in AZ and maybe blow a few coins in the casino.

Are you still interested in helping out at the Mojave Facelift/Trail Guardian event November 13-15? We will be opening up a second base camp to complete a project at Kelso Dunes Campsite. The same schedule will be used with the exception of the base camp location. Please advise with all your contact info if you are available.
I have planned another trip. But thanks for the invite.

How rough are the roads? Would like to bring my small ForestRiver EPro 14 camping trailer if the dirt roads aren’t too rough. It has high ground clearance and off road tires, but isn’t suitable for rocky roads like the Rubicon.

The roads are not rough but very off camber at some places, trailers tend to be much slower on the trail and thats not a bad thing but with 50+ rigs a trailer would slow the group down. We have two days of travel rather than three so the pace will need to be a little faster.

Our March event ill be a total base camp affair and a trailer would probably work then.

Hey Kent, Thursday at 5pm we meet at Waypoint 1 correct? I'm confused by the starting point notes saying night camp. Thanks
Just to make sure, do you have the coordinates for Thursdays camp off of Needles Highway.

Is the March event also Mohave Road. I passed the group west of Caruthers canyon this trip. Was cool to see all the rigs .
