Tucson to overland expo MW

I’ll be headed out Wednesday Aug 23 afternoon. My route shows I’ll be going through Albuquerque, Pueblo, Colorado Springs is there any cool off grid camps along the way anyone can recommend ? Also anyone headed out around that time on this route?

There's lot of off grid camping just west of Colorado Springs on Rampart Range Road in Woodland Park.
