I do not want to add a lift kit to my truck however an inch or two gained wouldn't hurt. I was looking at the Bilstein 5100s that are supposed to add some height and better ride as well as looking at a set of Fox coilovers/matching rear shocks as a better option.

Anyone out there tried this or have any suggestions?

I do know that there will be additional wear on the truck due to this and I will have a front end alignment if I decide to take this route.

Your feedback is welcome.

I’m guessing it’s a Tacoma? If so, King or Icon coil overs will offer way more performance than a bilstein 5100. I put the 5100’s on my FJ, performance was negligibly better than stock. I then put the Icon coil overs on it and it was game changing.

I'm rocking an F150 but I'm smelling what you are cooking. Thanks!

I'm also looking at some Fox shocks but for my WJ. I have considered leveling spaces for it, but have decided on an OME spring set to level it out and add a smidge of lift with better handling and performance. Heavier spring rates will make a difference with the rig loaded down.
