Hello all, was wondering if there is a way on here to make a custom route on the map. Im going to Colorado in sept up near cripple creek and have seen an overwhelming amount of mountain trails on satellite. Im getting a campsite at the banks campground just because im not sure where i can and cant camp but plan on overlanding some of these trails to see if i can find a more off grid site. Ive seen quite a few good spots and can drop a pin and save a certain spot but would like to actually map out a full route point to point with multiple waypoints so i can just click my route and go. Is this possible

On the Overland Bound map, I don't believe that is a feature yet no.

The feature is coming very soon to Beta… @Michael will have more information on this when he gets back from Ovelrand Expo Mountain West.

I know that the Roadtrippers website has a pretty good one. Not geared towards Outlanding, but you can select Auto or RV as your mode of transportation to get different suggestions.

You can do it using gaia.
Ive heard alot of good stuff about gaia but haven’t used it yet. i got the free roam app its pretty basic but was able to put together a decent route map but it wont let me save it for offline use so i just screenshot it lol. May have to look into gaia though

If you’re looking for something that has that feature ready to go now, Gaia is recommended. There’s also OnX Offroad, which I use, BFGoodrich’s OnTrail, and Mob Armor GPS to name a couple.

Today was my first run with new gear on my jlur. I took my dog on a run from. Sedalia down to Woodland Park on Rampart Range road then up to Pikes Peak and back. Found some rattling and stopped a couple time and broke out the tools. Now "Old Yella" is happy and quiet. One interesting note. I used Gaia on my Samsung phone in airplane mode. Turns out it has an impeded gps. Worked better than expected.
