Trip plan help

G’day OB fans,
I have finally persuaded my missus to join me on my my next camping/road-trip (October). The only stipulation is that we only have 8 days (we’re based in Sydney) and we need dog friendly locations as we’ll be taking our two Springer Spaniels.
Thinking either north and coastal or east and desert
....Any suggestions on great locations

I'm heading to lightning ridge for 2 nights 4&5 October staying at Lorne Station.

Depends on how far you want to travel. With 8 day return, you can cover a lot of ground.

Done - after much deliberation the final destination is......... Inskip Peninsula.
Two day drive each way, four day beach camp, can take our dogs...even has a long drop - luxury
