Went to take the course but they ask for a LOT of personal information. Not sure why or if I want to share that with them... why do they need my phone number and home address?

I would think since they are a non profit they need the info to hit you up for donations. But I took mine a long time ago and have never received any solicitations.

Bit the bullet and took the course; definitely a refresher on proper Tread Lightly principals. Although I did learn a bit on the geocaching section.

This is a great course and required for some offroad/expo events if you're a volunteer. It was a course that although I thought I knew the obvious, learned quite a bit. I've suggested this to many folks along the way and fully supportive of everything Tread Lightly stands for.
