Traveling with a dog through Europe and Asia

Hi Guys!

I’m planning a trip from Sweden to Sydney with my dog

I have been trying to find information on traveling with a pet and from what I understand everything is fine until I reach Malaysia. In Malaysia, Singapore, indonesia and Australia it seems that there are strict quarantine rules for pets.

im not to keen on leaving my dog in quarantine. I don’t mind doing it together with him but I don’t want him to be alone in a cage somewhere.

Is there any way to work around this? Does anyone have any tips or links to useful information on traveling with dogs?

Hi John,

I have no personal experience travelling with a dog. But I have met many overlanders during the years travelling with pets. So, sometimes it´s more difficult due to restrictions, paperwork, etc. but there seems to be always a way how to do it.
