There's a couple routes. One is N/S and the other E/W. The N/S is the Hamster Route with several sections meant for adventure bikes or ATV's, yet easy work arounds to continue northward. The E/W is Section 6 o the Backroads Discovery Route or NHBDR.

There's also a Puppydog route (n/s) and a Flatlander (loop n/s). Most of these routes coincide with the ones mentioned above and add some interesting alternatives.

If you're not familiar with Backroads Discovery Routes, do look them up. They have routes across the country! I did the Mid-Atlantic BDR couple years back and was a great way to see that region! I've done most of section 6 of the New England BDR and hope to more into Maine at some point.

Hey everyone! This summer I am looking to do the trans NH overland route in New Hampshire. Is there any information that could help me prepare or any useful tips y’all might have from doing it? This is gonna be the longest trip I’ve done yet so any tips are welcome!
