Started back at it we have developed a new plan. We will not be able to do the eastern part of the trail with the time lost. But if we go straight to Moab Utah we should be able to get the last half of the trip. So the trip is back on.

Day #1-- round 2
Tonight we find ourselves in Mississippi. With the addition of the trailer we have so much more room in the jeeps. The girls are happy and so am I. I figured that if we can drive 200 miles a day with our new plan we should keep the schedule. Also we have a cloudless sky all day.

Day# 2-- round 2
We ran into some rain today and had head north to so out of the bad stuff. After about a 100 miles north the sky parted and the rest of the day was sun shine. We made camp in northern Louisiana. Did some exploration around the local area.

The beauty of the open road.
I am left reflecting on my younger days traveling around and the beauty that each mile brings. Traveling the country is one of my greatest joys.
