I haven't searched Canadas trails on this site, but I will now.. Generally, you can check out the Gravel Travel web site. There are quite a few routes off the Trans Canadain Trail, from east to west.. I am doing the Swisha Loop this coming summer with a few member from my group.. That seems to be the most popular tail for your area. But there are many others I wouldn't mind checking out.. Especially from Nova Scotia to Swisha.. Mainly because I'm in sw NY state..

It turned out great.. The trip, for me, is what I expect a true overland adventure to be.. We had 6 vehicles..10 people and 3 dogs..Rain, wash outs, awesomely beautiful lake side camp sites, flooded trails, trees over trails, miles of overgrowth, loosened lug nuts, major electrical issues, nearly out of gas in 3 vehicles, AWESOME teamwork and camaraderie, etc, etc, etc..Great 6 day trip from Ottawa and around the loop back to Ottawa. We're heading to Nova Scotia next July.
